Website and integrated booking system for Carmen Kosmetik, an independent cosmetics and wellness practice in Germany. A small project, but it replaced pen-and-phone scheduling with a fully automated appointment flow.

Carmen Kosmetik is an independent cosmetics and wellness practice. Before the web launch, appointments were managed by phone and paper diary, a process that required the owner to be available to take calls during working hours, and that had no automated confirmation or reminder capability.
The brief was to replace that with a professional web presence and an online booking system that could handle appointments without manual intervention. The scope was modest. The outcome was clear: the owner should be able to take bookings while with a client, without checking a phone.
The integrated booking system handles service selection, availability checking, appointment confirmation, and automated reminders. The owner manages content and prices directly from the CMS.

Mobile-first for local search intent
Most searches for local wellness services happen on mobile. The site was built mobile-first: fast load, thumb-friendly navigation, and a booking flow designed for small screens. The conversion path starts on a phone.
CMS the owner could run independently
Treatments and prices change. The CMS was configured so the owner could update the service menu, adjust pricing, and change availability rules without raising a support ticket. Editorial independence was a design constraint from the brief.
