Ratskeller Niedernhausen is a traditional German restaurant in the Taunus region. Before the web launch, the restaurant had no online presence: no site, no Google Business Profile, no way for a potential guest to find a menu or make a reservation without calling.
The brief was simple and clear: get the restaurant online, make it findable for local searches, and give guests a way to book. Every decision in the project was evaluated against bookings, findability, and owner-controlled updates.
The result was a fast, mobile-first site with an online reservation flow, a menu the owner could update without a developer, and local SEO foundations that put the restaurant in front of people searching in the area.
Local search visibility from day one
A restaurant with no web presence is effectively invisible to anyone searching on a phone. We set up the Google Business Profile, applied local schema markup, and ensured NAP consistency across directories: the foundations that determine whether a guest finds the restaurant before a competitor.
Reservations without phone dependency
The online booking integration meant guests could reserve a table at any hour without the owner needing to be available to take a call. Confirmation and reminder emails handled the follow-up automatically. Operational load dropped from the first week.
Content the owner could maintain independently
The menu changes seasonally. The CMS was configured so the owner could update dishes, prices, and opening hours without calling a developer. That independence was a design requirement from day one. It determines whether the site stays accurate after handover.
