The event date ruled every scope decision

Conference websites have one external constraint: the event date. Every scope decision was evaluated against the go-live date. We held scope tight, moved fast on trade-offs, and built the deployment pipeline for safe releases without late surprises.

Conversion work on the flows that fund the event

Sponsor inquiry forms, speaker applications, and attendee registration determine whether a conference can pay for itself. We audited each, cut friction from the forms, and rewrote the copy and CTAs around what each audience was actually deciding. Analytics configured before launch.

Full content control for the in-house team

Speaker profiles, sponsor tiers, session listings, and news articles all needed to be manageable by a non-technical team without a development ticket. The CMS was built around exactly what the team publishes across the conference cycle: speaker profiles, sponsor tiers, session listings, and news.

Built for the next edition. Ready for next year

A conference website runs in cycles. The 2025 codebase was built to carry cleanly into 2026 and beyond: structured content types, documented extensions, and handover notes sufficient for a different developer to pick up the next edition without a full audit of the previous year's work.
